About
I am a costume production technician working across draping, garment construction, and wardrobe-integrated production support within collaborative theatre and opera environments. My practice focuses on translating design renderings into structurally sound garments that sustain rehearsal wear, backstage handling, and performance demands.
My training includes academic study and professional production experience spanning regional theatre, repertory environments, and large-scale performance contexts. These settings have shaped an approach grounded in iterative pattern development, fitting-based problem solving, and attention to internal garment architecture that supports performer movement and durability across runs.
Alongside shop work, my independent alteration practice has deepened my understanding of fit diagnostics, textile behavior, and repair-based construction strategies. This dual perspective reinforces a production mindset attentive not only to garment realization but also to maintenance, adaptation, and lifecycle within wardrobe systems.
I am particularly interested in production environments where craftsmanship, collaborative process, and repertory thinking intersect, supporting costumes as functional components of performance infrastructure.
